About the hub

Hackley DECA Hub is our chapter’s home between meetings: where members practice for competition, keep track of what’s coming up, check in, and talk to each other. It’s built and run by the chapter.

What is DECA?

DECA is a nonprofit student organization that prepares high school and college students to become leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.

Members compete in events judged by business professionals. Many pair a multiple-choice exam with a role-play, where you walk into a business scenario and present your solution to a judge; others are written projects and presentations.

Questions

Is this an official DECA website?+

No. The hub is built and run by the Hackley School DECA chapter. For official rules and event guidelines, always check deca.org.

Are the practice questions real DECA exam questions?+

No. They are original questions written in the style of DECA cluster exams to help you practice the same topics. Official sample exams are on deca.org.

Who can see my information?+

Everyone in the chapter can see the roster: names, grades, emails, and the event and bio you choose to add. Your phone number, dues, eligibility, attendance and practice history are visible only to you and chapter admins (your XP total appears on the monthly leaderboard). Messages are visible to the people in that channel or conversation, and admins can read and remove messages to keep the hub safe.

Can I turn off emails?+

Yes. In Settings you can choose whether to get announcement and message emails. In-hub notifications stay on.

I didn’t get my confirmation email.+

Check spam and promotions first. Then request a new confirmation link; the newest link always works.

Need a hand?

Ask a chapter officer at the next meeting or post in the hub’s general channel.
